Light Trails

Here are some of my light trails from today...

                                                                 Backlighting

This was my first attempt of shaking hands with a stick man but it was a little bit dark fo you to see me.

This was my second attempt, because on the first try i was too dark we introduced a strob light to light me up for a second.

This is my smiley face :)

This is my snow man for christmas :)

To create the images my camera was set on..
shutter speed: 30 sec
Aperture: 22
ISO: 100

Studio Self Portraits

Theses are studio Portraits...

Repeat Portraits

I am going to try and do my version of this image, i think it would be hard but its unique and interesting. I am going to try to do mine in the garden because there is more room and you can fit more repeats on it.

To create this image you need to set your camera on a tripod so it wont move and ruin the image, you would set the timer and just take as many images as you wanted in different points in that space. Then you would upload it to photoshop and edit all the images together onto one of the pictures.

Light Trail Portrait

This is my first attempt of a light trail portrait but it did not work as well as i had hoped because the room was to bright so the light trails didn't turn up as good as i thought they would.

To do this my camera was set to on fully manual... shutter speed at 30", the aperture at F22, and the  ISO at 100.

I am going to  try and do a few more light trails to see if they come up any better. I am going to find a darker room to begin with to make the trails more clear. I will post them on here as soon as i do them :) .

Portraits- college

Portraits are about capturing yourself or others in that single moment in time.. The day, what you were wearing, how your hair was that day its all about capturing you or your subject in that moment in time because there will never be a chance to get that exact moment ever again.

Here are some of the portraits we have taken from around the college and using the studio...

Portraits

A Portrait is a photography, painting or sculpture of a person or people to show an emotion, personality or sometimes there status in society eg, wealth. Some people get portraits of there pet, or around Christmas time a family portrait to remember the time of year and the happiness of the family.

Most old portraits are of kings, queens and wealthy people, they normally have  something purple in the   portrait because purple was a sign of wealth. Anyone could have there pictures taken years ago so most wealthy people would rather have painted portraits.

There are different types of Portraits here are a few examples...

self Portraits

 Natural face Portraits

Family Portraits

Pet Portraits

Surreal Portraits
